Dr. Prashanth Bhat specializes in family medicine, HIV medicine and clinical epidemiology. He firmly believes in the prevention continuum of health and strives to make primary care the cornerstone of health care. He has been an academic mentor to numerous physicians for more than 20 years and he also serves as the faculty advisor for Baptist’s medical residency education program. Originally from Bangalore, India, he calls Memphis home and lives with his wife who is an acclaimed interventional cardiologist and their children.
Dr. Jennifer Goodfred specializes in family medicine and primary care. She enjoys teaching the next generation of physicians and strives to provide excellent care to every patient.
Dr. Amy Oyler specializes in pediatrics and serves as a pediatric hospitalist at the Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children's Hospital in Memphis. She also serves as the medical director of the pediatric and didactics curriculum for Baptist’s medical residency program.
Dr. Shondolyn Sanders is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in post-traumatic stress disorder and health psychology. She has worked in integrated primary care as a behavioral health consultant and her research interests include health equity and graduate education and supervision. She is the Behavioral Health faculty advisor for Baptist’s medical residency program.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Sheila Thomas is a former instructor and assistant professor of family medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She now specializes in family medicine and primary care at Baptist Medical Group-Memphis Family Medicine and also serves on the faculty of Baptist’s medical residency program.
